Kaplan ACT Review
Kaplan is the name most parents recognize when they think of test prep, and there's a reason for that - they've been doing this for a long time. But brand recognition and quality aren't always the same thing.
What Kaplan Does Well
The live instruction option is genuinely good. Kaplan's teachers are well-trained and follow a structured curriculum that covers all ACT sections thoroughly. The on-demand video library is extensive, and the practice tests are reasonably representative of the real exam.
Where Kaplan Falls Short
The technology feels dated compared to newer platforms like Wizeprep. The study plans are largely static - you get a schedule, but it doesn't adapt to your performance. At $999+ for the live course, you're paying a premium for the brand name.
